We have explored more concrete and cognitive aspects of motivation in our previous post Motivation Part 1. Contributors to motivation such as goal setting, reward systems, and organizational climate are no doubt important. However, it seems that along with those logistical pieces there is a side of motivation dealing more directly with the heart.
It is more difficult to define and more abstract to grasp. It involves human drive and dedication, and cannot be ignored when speaking about motivating humans. We are talking about what gets you out of bed in the morning.
At Raza Properties it is quality, the drive for creativity or vision in subtle ways that make a difference in the long run. It is beating odds and defying the status quo to deliver our product and word. It is the idea and ideal of community and developing more than just buildings…it is creating homes, opportunities, neighborhoods, future, and connection.
So…What motivates you?
